Velassaru Maldives

The Velassaru Maldives is located in the South Male Atoll. With its marvellous lagoon and the gently sloping fine white sandy beach surrounded by palm trees and tropical vegetation, the island is the ideal retreat for a relaxing stay. The island is about 450 m long and 150 m wide and offers ideal conditions for divers because the reef is only about 60 m. away. The International airport Male is about 12km away and can be reached in about 25 minutes by speedboat.

Five restaurants provide for culinary pleasures. The Sand with live cooking offers a wide selection of grilled specialties. In Vela international cuisine is served buffet style. The Etesian surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation offers specialties from the Mediterranean cuisine. The Teppanyaki offers Japanese cuisine in a pavilion directly over the lagoon. The Tourquoise pampers its guests with international delicacies in a casual atmosphere. In the bar Fen during daytime snacks and evening refreshing cocktails are offered. Enjoy delicious cocktails, tapas and salads on the sun terrace of the bar Chill with views over the Indian Ocean. On request, staff can arrange a private dinner in your own villa or on the beach. Other facilities include a jewellery store, a CD / DVD rental, a boutique and an infinity pool with sun beds and umbrellas and magnificent sea views.
