The Ayurveda and Wellness Resort is located approximately 50 km from the capital Port Louis in the original south of the island paradise. In the nearly 15-acre exotic gardens you will find various top-class accommodation options, from spacious suites – some of them also by the sea – to villas with private pool. Enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows, private terraces and uninterrupted ocean views, as well as direct access to the beach, to highlight just a few of the features.

The award-winning Shanti Spa offers a variety of spa treatments and spa programs. Ayurveda, yoga and meditation serve as a basis and are supplemented with modern spa elements. Of course your health and well-being are being put first and you are in very professional hands as the Ayurveda team incl. a qualified Indian Ayurvedic doctor is trained locally at the sister hotel Ananda in the Himalaya.

The Shanti Spa consists of a tea pavilion in the center, 25 treatment rooms, an Ayurveda and Yoga Pavilion, as well as a relaxation room. To cool off take a swim in the saltwater pool or relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi. In addition, there is a steam room and a sauna, as well as a modern fitness center.

Culinary delights are provided by various restaurants, one serving regional, international and Ayurvedic cuisine. The Ayurveda dishes of the Shanti Maurice Resot & Spa are based on the principles of Ayurveda and interpreted in a modern way, combined with current nutritional approaches from the spa expertise. In addition to the signature restaurant “Stars”, which indulges you with Indian Ocean cuisine and South African wines, there is also the “Fish Shack” on the beach, the “La Kaze Mama” with Mauritian dishes and the “Rum Shed” with grilled specialties. The “Red Ginger” Bar & Lounge Pool is perfect for enjoying a sunset.

The Ayurveda and Wellness Resorts offer a variety of activities: play tennis, borrow a bike or try water sports such as snorkeling, stand-up paddling, kayaking or kitesurfing at the partner school. In the area there is also a Kids Club (3-12 years), scuba diving, you can go waterskiing or watch dolphins, go hiking or play golf (“Avalon Golf & Country Club”).
