Shakti Vani Ayu Resort & Klinik

Opened in 2016, Shakti Vani Ayu Resort is located on the east coast of Sri Lanka in Kalkudah, approximately 5-6 hours from the airport in Colombo, surrounded by largely untouched nature in a dreamlike garden with tropical plants. After a short walk, you will reach beautiful white beaches at the Indian Ocean. Explore the sights, nature reserves and ancient temples in the area.

Consisting of five guest houses, the Shakti Vani Ayu Resort offers a total of 20 double rooms, a clinic in the center of the complex, restaurants and a yoga pavilion, all built in traditional style. In addition, the wonderful garden with its various areas (flowers, medicinal herbs, and vegetables), a natural pond and the swimming pool invite you to linger. Unwind in one of the hammocks under the palm trees.

In contrast to the southern west coast, you can enjoy tropical Savannah climate all along the eastern coast of Sri Lanka. The temperatures range from 27 ° C during the winter months and 34 ° C during the summer months. In November and December, the northeast monsoon sets in.

The spacious, luxurious rooms offer a 5-star standard and are equipped with a rain shower, refrigerator, air conditioning and internet. On your spacious private terrace, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the garden. The Ayurvedic Clinic comprises 8 treatment and diagnostic rooms and a team of 20 doctors and therapists will take care of your well-being during your stay. All Ayurveda doctors and therapists are state-recognized, certified and have a solid experience. A great deal of attention is put on applying authentic Ayurveda medicine and philosophy is applied expertly and with the highest safety criteria.

Immerse yourself in your individual Ayurveda cure, which will energize you long after returning home. After a detailed initial diagnosis, you will be able to enjoy relaxing massages with aromatic herbs, relaxing oil treatments and daily yoga and meditation (except Sundays). Your cure usually lasts 21 days but the duration can be chosen freely according to the Ayurveda doctor.

In the two restaurants – one on a covered terrace and the other glazed and air-conditioned – you will be spoiled with a rich vegetarian selection of the traditional Ayurvedic cuisine. This helps to bring you into a powerful balance. The products come partly from the own organic cultivation.

The 5 guest villas each offer 4 large rooms, 2 on the ground floor with private access and 2 rooms on the first floor with private access via stairs. The room size is about 42 square meters plus 2 x 9 square meters private terrace. You can choose between a king bed or two single beds. There are also 2 rooms with disabled access and disabled facilities.
