Barberyn Ayurveda Beach Resort is located on the southern tip of Sri Lanka, about a 2 hours drive from Colombo, near the small coastal town of Weligama. In the reception pavilion you will be greeted by the scent of frangipani and a traditional Ayubowan – I wish a long life. In a stunning location on the Indian Ocean, you will discover the Ayurveda way of life of Barberyn Beach.

Barberyn Beach Ayurveda Resort, with the green valleys and pristine coastline, time seems to pass more slowly in order to bring the beauty of nature closer to the visitor. Standing and flowing water draws your attention to the garden water reservoir which attracts birds and butterflies. From the saltwater pool you have a spectacular view over the sea. The best spot for your daily yoga session during sunrise and sunset. The land drops off to the beach and to the left is Red Cliff Bay, where you can swim tide depending. On the right hand is Palm Beach, the long beach is ideal for walking or jogging.

All our guests immediately learn to listen to their bodies – and they feel how the stress and tension dissolves in the warm oil and the rhythmic massage of the therapist. The spacious rooms are very comfortably furnished with natural materials. All rooms are bright and airy, with high ceilings, and are equipped with ceiling or floor fans and mosquito nets. Most rooms have a four-poster bed. All buildings of the resort, the restaurants and guest rooms are located along the mountain, facing the Indian Ocean, with magnificent views of the garden and the sea. At the highest point of the property stands the pavilion – a meeting place for the guests to listen to music, especially when the dusk of night gives way and the stars light the huge skies.

The ocher-coloured buildings fit harmoniously with the natural environment. The stilt houses are located in a lush valley sloping gently down to the sea. All rooms have balconies and are connected by catwalks leading to the main buildings and the health center. These catwalks are wheelchair accessible. All rooms are bright and airy, with high ceilings. They are pleasantly decorated with tasteful wooden furnishings and feature ceiling or standing fan and mosquito net. Most rooms have a four-poster beds. The on-suite spacious bathroom is equipped with a large shower, toilet and sink.
