Cliffview Ayurveda Retreat

Cliffview Ayurveda Retreat is located on the cliffs on the scenic Malabar Coast with unbelievable views of the Indian Ocean and surrounding palm gardens. It takes just 30 minutes to reach this family-led Ayurveda resort from the airport in Trivandrum, Kerala. A path leads down the hill to the wide sandy beach, for the way back you might consider renting a tuk-tuk.

The Bauhaus-style building has only 9 rooms and thus offers a wonderful retreat for individualists. Relax and find piece on one of the terraces or on the sundeck next to the pool. The straightforwardness of the architecture is complemented by Indian and Western decoration so that you immediately feel comfortable.

Despite the small number of rooms, these are divided into three different categories. From each you can enjoy a unique view from your terrace or balcony. All rooms are equipped with king-size beds with mosquito nets and modern bathrooms with shower and toilet. Pleasant building materials, open building structures and the fans in the room make air conditioning unnecessary and ensure a pleasant indoor climate. Wi-Fi is available both in the rooms and at the reception of the Ayurveda resort.

At the Ayurveda Center Dr. med. Remaya Raveendran with her professional and very well-trained therapist team assembles your individual health plan with warmth and empathy after a detailed first consultation. At Cliffview Ayurveda Retreat you are in good hands if your goals are rejuvenation or detoxification of the body, but also when wishing to lose weight as well as when facing issues about the musculoskeletal system and circulation this Ayurveda Resort is a great choice. You can even enjoy the view to the sea from the treatment rooms. In addition to the individual treatments (eg massages with oil, herbal packs and oil spills), which take about 2 hours a day, the progress of your treatment is supported by a delicious Ayurvedic cuisine – so it is made easy to reconcile body, mind and soul.

In the small restaurant, which of course also offers sea views, always fresh vegetarian dishes are prepared and served with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, partly from the own garden or from the surrounding area. The chef fine tunes your meals closely with the Ayurvedic doctor and is happy when you visit him in the kitchen to learn about the preparation of the food. Alcohol is not served.

Participate in the daily yoga and meditation program in the garden pavilion or on the sundeck to completes your Ayurveda treatment. Yoga teacher Ms. Shyla mainly teaches Hatha Yoga but also specializes in stress management, meditation techniques and yoga to support healing processes.
